Trick or Treat

Happy Halloween!!!!! We had so much fun. The boys were so excited to be dressed up in their costumes. Landon a pirate and Brenten a Fire fighter. They are so fun because they get so excited. I was pretty sure they didn't even need candy they were so hyper before the candy even started.

All ready for trick or treating. Even though it rained, the weather was really nice so at least Christian and I couldn't complain.

Pre-Halloween fun. They got scary teeth and they were funny. Especially Landon with this little mouth and big lips. So cute.
After we got back from Trick or treating we pretty much just let them have candy. But they had to eat it in the kitchen. Landon kept coming to me to open something new and I had the thought that I was surprised he could eat it so quickly but that is it. Well after we put the boys to bed I went into the kitchen and this is what we found. One bite taken out of all the different kinds of candy. This is all Landon and so much his personality. I don't know if he couldn't choose or if he was staking his claim on all these pieces of candy.

Carving Pumpkins

We carved pumpkins last night. I am glad we only did 2 pumpkins. Brenten touched the pumpkin and said "It's cold and gross" I thought are you kidding me. You love being dirty and gross when I don't want you too. It didn't take much for both of the boys to get into it. However, Landon still wouldn't touch the pumpkin guts with his hands only with a long spoon. Now they are pretty proud of their master pieces. Christian is funny because he got out the power tools because he saw it done on TV. It actually worked really well, and made our pumkin carving go quickly. Now we are just waiting for Trick or Treating.

Happy Birthday Christian!!!!

Happy Birthday Christian!!!!! The boys and I are so excited for Christian's birthday. And I would love to make a big deal about it and he tries his hardest to make non existent. If I ask him what he wants, he doesn't know. If I ask him if he wants to do something, not really. If I want to do a party or go out with friends to dinner, No. I think he would be happy if we did nothing. But I can't do that. My guilt gets to me. And my boys love his birthday too. Brenten has been singing all day, "It's my Dad's birthday today" I really don't know what tune it is too. So they picked out his favorite cookies at the store and we took them to his work. After work we picked him up and went to the climbing store and he got more climbing gear and then we went out for dinner. After we got home we had brownies (he doesn't really like cake) with candy bars in it. They tasted great but they sure looked ugly. So much for new recipes. We just want him to know that we love him. I think he knows.

Pictures

Brenten and Landon after helping me plant flowers before it froze. Which it did that night. So cold.
My Cute Brenten.
My sweet little Landon.
My sweet little Landon wrestling Brenten. Brenten is so careful with Landon and well Landon goes all out. It is really funny when he says he is going to fight Christian because he is like a little Tasmanian devil.

Snow ?!?!?!?

Landon
Brenten

It is Saturday morning and still the beginning of October and it is definitely snowing. Not sticking but snowing just the same. I can't say I am happy but the boys are having so much fun and they are so cute. They ran upstairs and got their boots and coats and their new hats. They were trying to catch snow flakes on sticks and trying to place them on the porch. And then they were trying to catch them on their tongues. Brenten I think was most excited to come in when they got cold and get hot chocolate.

Kick Kick Kick

These days I feel the baby move all the time. Especially when I am sitting or trying to go to sleep. I love it. It is my only way of knowing the baby is doing well. Today was a little more fun though. Today Brenten felt the baby kick for the first time. He was so cute. I was laying on the couch and told him the baby was kicking so he snuggled up against me and put his hand on my belly. He was so patient. He just laid there watching tv with me and waiting for the baby to move again. I don't know why it is but the babies never kick when someone comes over to feel it. Murphy's law I guess. Anyway, Brenten was so excited when he felt the baby kick him. While he waited he would just say "come on little wolf kick real hard".

General Conference Weekend

This last weekend was so fun. Probably one of the best ones. I got to see my brother Brian. It has been so long. About 4 years, and I have missed him so much. He made a last minute decision to make a trip up and see me. I don't think he knows how much it means to me. I was so excited when I found out that I immediately called Christian at work. Brian came up Thursday night late and hung out until Sunday morning. Unfortunately we didn't do anything too excited but I had fun anyway. I hope he did. He humored us by coming to watch 4 hours of softball. And then we watched a little BYU football. (I love DVR. I don't know how I lived before) And then we hung out most the of the rest of the weekend watching football and conference. And playing with the boys. Brenten and Landon think he is the best now. Christian says he wished he had more time to visit with Brian. Maybe we will have to make a trip down there sometime.

Christian's family also came up for Conference weekend. Christian and his family were able to get tickets to the Saturday morning session and he and his Dad and brother went to Priesthood session. I was invited but opted to hang out with Brian since we was up for such a short time. They ended up getting great seats. There tickets were the "pink tickets". That means they got to sit in the roped off area up front. They were part of the friends and family of the President. Pretty cool. I think it was a great experience for all of them.

4th Doc. Appointment

Profile of the baby with hand by face.
Both legs and the sex of the baby.

I had my 4th doctor's appointment and my ultrasound. Christian and my boys came to the appointment. I figured once Brenten was shown where the baby was that he would get it but I really didn't think Landon would understand any of it. Boy was I surprised. The first profile picture that came up on the screen he yelled "Baby, Baby Girl" That is what the boys have said all along. They were both very certain about this during the entire ultra sound. Everything on the baby looks great. There was not one thing during the ultra sound that needed to be looked at twice or anything that could be a symptom for anything. So that is good. The doctor gave our little baby 100%. He says that he likes to keep things in suspense so he saved looking at the sex for last. We are having a GIRL. Yes there is going to be a Weaver Girl. For those of you who don't know. There are not many Weaver girls and we are going to be blessed with one. The boys were so excited. Brenten said, "Landon and I knew for a long time. Mom and Dad had to wait until the Doctor told them!" He was so excited he wanted to be the one to call the Grandma's and let them know. He is telling everyone. Since the appointment, they both refer to the baby as Wolf. I guess we will have to deal with that later. I can't burst their bubble now. They are just excited that we all know now.

Battle Wounds

Our softball season is over. We will have to wait until next April to play again. Maybe next year we will have a better showing in the tourney. The season went pretty well. We went 4-3 so there is some room for improvement. The tourney was another story. We were done in one night and felt a little reminiscent of Bad News Bears. Next year at least I won't be pregnant. Now if my game doesn't improve I don't know what I will blame it on. We had lots of fun. I wasn't allowed to dive or slide or anything so my battle wounds were kept to a minimum. Christian on the other hand, got beat up in the tourney. Christian usually pitches and every season we play he usually gets some come backers / line drives but he hasn't had anything this year, until the tourney. Some big dude tried to take him out at home and then he had to hard line drives back to him at pitcher. The first one hit him on the foot. He said that he kind of stuck his foot out there at a last effort to stop the ball. So it was a little his own fault. but it was hard and with in a few minutes started to swell up in his shoe. But he just walked it off and kept going. The second on was at the end of our 3rd game of the night and he was hit and on the ground before I even saw the ball hit. It was so hard. He was hit in the chest but from 1st base, where I was, it looked like he was hit in the face. I already figured we would be in the ER all night. It wasn't his face and it was probably the best case scenario possible. After just a few seconds he was back up and pitching again. Even though he got up pretty quick he still had his battle wound. He has a whole ball mark on his chest. At first it was all numb but now he definitely feels it. I added some pictures.
