I always forget all the funny things my kids say to me. so I thought I would be better.
This was a conversation I had with Brenten yesterday.
B: Mom so boys wear swim shorts when they go swimming and Cait wears her swim suit?
Me: yes
B: So big girls wear booby suits right ?!
Me: (Laughing ) no bathing or swim suits.
B: No they have boobies so they need booby suits.
Christian of course said nothing to help me and only things to encourage Brenten.

Sweet Boy
My sweet Brenten. He has really loved his role as the big brother this time around. I think he and Cait are going to have a special bond. If he is gone for a little bit he just wants to snuggle and kiss her and hold hold. It is really cute. He can't help himself. Yesterday Christian was playing softball and I had young women's . They only overlapped for a little bit so Christian brought Cait to me and then the boys went with him. Brenten later asked me why Cait came with me and not softball. I told him she needed someone to take care of her. He responded with, " Mom I could have taken care of her. I didn't have to play." The crazy thing is that I think he would have been so happy to just sit and take care of Cait and keep her happy and not play on the playground at all.

This is where my kids get their red hair
Dog is NOT gone forever
Landon has had this dog since he was 1 1/2 years old. He and his Grandma Sawyer picked it out together and he loves this dog. He had to take it with us to our friend's house on Monday and of course he forgot it there. We thought he was fine because Brenten was nice enough to let him sleep with his dinosaur. I was wrong. For two nights now he wakes up crying saying he had a bad dream. When I ask him what the bad dream was about, he would say it was that his dog was lost forever. Today, after I went to the gym, we swung by my friend's house and got his dog. I took it to him in the car and he squealed he was so happy. And then within 2 seconds he was snuggling his dog and totally asleep. My poor boy just needed his dog.
Teeth
Silly Boys
We haven't really done anything too exciting lately. Mostly because Landon has been so sick all the time. I think he has been sick for over 3 months now. He has a good couple of days here and there. So we have been hanging out at the house A LOT. They are so creative. They have set up demolition derbies in the basement and love to play make believe together. We did go see the new Transformer movie and the boys loved it. If you haven't seen it they have some new characters and two of them are smaller so that is what we call the boys now. Landon is Mudflap and Brenten is Skidmark. I laugh so hard every time he refers to himself as his new Transformer name. If he only knew.

Jumping Cait
Cait is 5 months old already. I can't believe how fast time has gone. She is such an easy baby. Now that she is 5 months, she rolls over (both ways), babbles, eats rice cereal, and got her first 2 teeth. Our friends let us borrow a couple of toys and Cait loves them. Today she figured out how fun the jumper can be.

Jessi is Back!!!!
My neice Jessica came and hung out with me until yesterday. I love having her here. I wish we could have done more fun things but my little guys ended up sick. Poor Brenten had his ear drum rupture and Landon, well, he has been sick for most of the last 2 1/2 months so I am not even surprised at this point. Thank goodness Cait is still healthy.

Lots of pictures!!!
We just got back from Idaho where we were visiting my parents. Two of my brothers and one sister and their families were there. It was so fun to see so much family and for the kids to see a bunch of their cousins.Brenten and landon love playing on Uncle Mark's tractor. No he isn't a farmer or even really a country boy but he thought he needed to have a tractor to fix his yard. All the boys had a great time with it.
Brenten Lauren and Landon.
My cute kids in St. George. We went down there the weekend before going to Idaho for a Weaver Family reunion. It was really fast but so fun.
The Subway. While in St. George Christian went through the subway in Zion's with a bunch of his family. It was a great experience. I wish I could have gone but Cait can't live without me right now (literally). So Christian was sure to take pictures of where we were engaged 8 years ago.
Before St George, Christian was in New Orleans for work for 8 days. When he got home he picked up Cait and she totally snuggled in for a long time. This is unusual. She will snuggle but never like that. If she is positioned this way she always lifts her head and has to be able to look around. I think she missed her Daddy.
She finally likes tummy time. It makes a difference when it is so much easier to move. I just love her big toothless smile.
Brenten is done with his first year of baseball. We had a lot of fun and learned a lot. He will tell you he is the best. It is eye opening to me to see how different my kids can be from me. He is not competitive at all. He just loves to play, learn and be with his friends. It was a good season and now he is ready for soccer.
