Landon is 3 and he was given pneumonia :(

My cute little Landon is 3 years old today. He has been so excited for his birthday and asking for his presents and cake for days now. I feel bad for the little guy. We so far, have spent his birthday at the doctors office. He has pneumonia. So he is on antibiotics and taking a good nap now. Hopefully he will feeling much better by tomorrow. And then be back to himself in a couple of days. Landon is our passionate one. He gives his all to what ever he is doing. He likes to be the best. (so competitive.) It sometimes means the biggest tears and the biggest tantrums, but it also means the best hugs and snuggles, the biggest smiles and the best laughs. We never know what this little guy is going to think up or do. He gets excited over the smallest things. We love our Landon so much.

More Pictures

I think pictures say more of what we have been up to than words sometimes. So here are some picts of my cute babies. Brenten is the best big brother he will also go to hold or play with Cait, especially if she is crying. If Brenten is gone for even an hour he will come tell her he misses her and loves her so much. So sweet.
Brenten Landon and their friend Jared at the zoo.
My silly boys will dress up with anything.
Playing in the backyard with a bunch of the neighbors.
Cait was so sleepy. Nothing we would do could get this little girl to wake up, but she had to mommy was going to explode.

The table is finally done!!!

Our kitchen table is finally done. The was the table that I grew up with and the only one I remember my parents having and I was ready to take on the challange of refinishing it. What a mistake!!! It looks fantastic now but it has been over a year in the process. Granted I wasn't continually working on it. Finally I was done so I told Christian. I think he misunderstood and thought I said it was done. Poor boy. He didn't know what he was getting himself into. A few months later and a lot more work (mostly by Christian) it is finished and I love it. Would we do it again? Absolutely not. We would tell anyone else to drive to RC Willey and buy one. I do love it. Thanks Christian.

Picts of the week

Cait is so funny. Her new thing is she sees the camera and starts smiling. Does that mean I take too many pictures? I love her little dress. Christian just likes that it isn't pink.
Brenten and I weeded the flower beds for a couple of hours on Saturday. I love the nice weather. I am so white that even the slightest bit of sun gave me a decent sunburn.

My cute boys. they are such cheesers. I think they notice how many picts are of Cait so they want in on the action. Plus they love to see their picts on my blog.

Chubby little Cait. She is getting so big. She is 2 1/2 months and no way she could wear 0-3 months anymore. She is definitely our princess.

New Dishwasher Wahoo!!!!

We got a new dishwasher this week. This is the boys trying to push it in. You see Landon was using his hammer. Our old dishwasher ran but for the last year our dishes were getting dirtier by using it. I cleaned out the traps and all that good stuff. I had to completely wash dishes before I would put them in and then they would still come out gross. It was especially embarrassing if people came over so we would use paper.

Smurfs

YUMMY RAINBOW ICE CREAM CONE!!!!
We were at the mall and Brenten decided they needed a snack so I got these "baby cones". Well these baby cones come with a big mess. Luckily we were leaving because after just a couple of minutes I had to take off Landon's shirt. And I am now glad that I did. It was quiet in the back of the car so I looked back and Landon was taking the melted ice cream (that had already dripped all over him) and was smearing it all over his belly and in his belly button. And then he fell asleep. That is why I could take the picture without teaching him it is funny to have ice cream everywhere. We got home and I started cleaning him and a lot came off but he still have a little blue tint on him. He looks like a little smurf.

Blessing/Easter

We were able to bless Cait on Easter Sunday. It made it so fun to have so much to celebrate. Brenten said "How fun we get all grandma's and papas and aunts and uncles and Easter all in the same day!!!!" It was so fun. Above, obviously our little princess. Christian said she just smiled at them when she was blessed. It's like she knew it was her special day.
Grandpa Sawyer meeting Cait for the first time and Landon getting in some snuggle time.My niece Samantha and her hubby (sorry Andy no picts of you) came by and she got to hold her cousin for the first time. Cooper (Brenten's best buddy) and brenten and Landon all showing off their Easter eggs. They all say they got the most so I think they were all happy. Even little Ty got two eggs of his own to eat.
This is not my mom's first time seeing little Cait. She was here after she was born, but I guess I was not thinking clearly and didn't get any pictures. So I corrected my mistake by taking a bunch of pictures this time.

For my buddy Coop

Hey Cooper thanks so much for Cait's first doll. I just wanted you to see that Cait loves her already. She tries to eat her hair and face.

Baseball

Brenten had his very first baseball practice this last Tuesday. He was so cute. He was pretty nervous. He said he was excited but I could hardly get him to smile for this picture. So we walked down to the park and he looked and looked for someone he recognized. He was so quiet and wouldn't really look up. Once he saw some of his buddies he suddenly became a whole different kid. He was excited, chatty and slightly obnoxious. I'm glad he had fun playing ball and I am mostly glad he didn't sit in the grass and pick dandelions or anything.

I'm 2 Months Old

Cait went to her 2 month appointment today and she is 12lbs and 23in She is getting so big. She looks great. She still has a little thrush on her tongue that we are trying to get rid of but it doesn't seem to bug her. She was immunized and I thought it was interesting because she was immunized with oral drops for the rotovirus. I guess it is common practice now, but 5 1/2 years ago when Brenten was tiny he was in a study for the same immunization.

The first 2 months have been great for us, but this is what I think Cait thinks of it....

I have been here for 2 months now and I thought I would get to see all kinds of things, but the pictures below are pretty much it. Mom says that my brothers love me but I can't even focus on them they are so close and their long hair is in my face. But they are good at getting my binki back and getting my blankets on me and they sing great songs. Maybe one of these days they will be far enough away that I can find out what they look like.

Love Cait

CAITLIN

Cait smiles all the time and the best smiles are if Christian is in the room. These pictures are all taken with Christian standing right behind me.

Cait's uncle Matthew came to visit. She thinks he is great. She loves all the attention he will give her.

Cute Landon

Landon wanted pictures of himself. He is so funny. And then he wanted pictures of us together. This is as good as we could do. But I thought I was doing good to get us both in the picture. Brenten was sick this week so he didn't want to be in our picture.
